"I have always wanted to find a way to give back  and thanks to Hands of Grace I found it!  The moment I heard Jaimi say God had placed this in her heart to open this clinic I knew right then and there I wanted to be part of that.  I love volunteering in this ministry.  The moment you walk in the door you can feel that God is in this! I love that my children are growing up watching their Mama volunteer her time to help those in need.  They have even started asking how they can help!  Every time I volunteer at Hands of Grace I not only feel like we are touching the lives of people in need but I myself feel peace in knowing I’m doing what God wants me to do."

" I have been a nurse for ten years and volunteering for Hands of Grace Medical Clinic has been by far the best experience for me to use my calling to help others. Since I now work in an administrative position I really look forward to the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month because it gives me the opportunity to to provide hands on care for patients. I leave the clinic feeling as though I have made a difference which is such a great feeling. Thank you Jaimi and Hands of Grace for giving me the opportunity to volunteer and give back to my community!!"

"I have been in nursing for 20 years. It wasn't until the last 5 that it became very appearant to me that there are people right here in our neighborhoods going without medical care due to lack of access. I've heard of patients making a choice between groceries and copays. This broke my heart. I knew I had to help in some way. During my time volunteering in the clinic it has brought me great joy when I hear a patient praise the Lord for someone who will see them and help them to deal with their health concerns and issues. With every patient that leaves the clinic with a plan to feel better and a smile on their face I can just picture Jesus saying "well done my faithful child". There is no better medicine for my heart!"

"I recently began volunteering at Hands of Grace Free Medical Clinic every first and third Saturday of every month.  I have the opportunity of being able to talk to the patients one on one while I obtain their vitals before Jaimi sees them. I absolutely love being able to hear their stories of what they are going through and being able to encourage them to keep going. I have had several people tell me that they do not know what they would do if we were not here to help them. Hands of Grace Medical Clinic is such a blessing to many people who have no medical insurance. As a volunteer, I can tell you that this ministry is such a blessing to me as well. I always leave with a sense of fulfillment and joy knowing that I was able to help others when they needed it the most. To see people come in with their head down from carrying such a heavy load that life sometimes gives us and then leave with a smile is such a blessing. It's all because as a volunteer, YOU took time out of your busy schedule to ask "Hey, what's wrong?" and  then WE together as Hands of Grace help them get what they need to keep going. We all have our own individual roles to play in this ministry but it is so beautiful to see what happens when we work together every clinic day. You do not have to have medical experience to volunteer. I challenge you to volunteer at least one time and you will see why I love being a part of this wonderful ministry!"

"Every other Saturday, I greet multiple people at the door of Hands of Grace Free Medical Clinic. They all have different stories and backgrounds, yet they come to us for one common reason: affordable healthcare. When I started volunteering at Hands of Grace, I thought I was going to be making an impact on our community. It is true; we have helped many people receive the healthcare they need. However, I did not realize what an impact our patients would have on me.
This ministry has introduced me to a world I once was not familiar with. Having the ability, time, and resources to help people in our community take care of themselves has been very rewarding. There is nothing more fulfilling than the sight of a mother who can finally bring her child in, or a son who can finally bring his dad in to be seen. Through these moments, I have found a new appreciation for the luxuries I once thought were so easily obtainable for everyone. I am so thankful to be part of such a community-minded ministry!

When I moved to Warner Robins GA, I prayed for volunteer opportunities. God then answered my prayer with Hands of Grace. I volunteer almost every first and third Saturdays of every month. While I obtain histories and vital signs from our patients, this ministry allows me to connect with people whom I may have never met before. I enjoy hearing their stories and being that compassionate listener for them. Back when I graduated school, I remember someone telling me that Middle GA is medically underserved, and now I am able to really see the sad truth behind those words. This ministry has not only impacted me personally and spiritually, but it is also doing such wonders to our community, and this ministry is desperately needed in our area. I remember when I first started at this clinic and we only saw about 7 or 8 patients, and now we are treating over 20 people! 20 people whom may not have been given the treatment needed if Hands of Grace did not open its doors. I pray that this ministry continues to grow at such a fast capacity as it has been growing, and I pray that we reach out to each and every person who needs this resource!
